and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.\u00a0 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory<\/i>.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">(THERE WILL ALSO BE TIMES OF FREEZING COLD JUST AS DEVASTATING AS THE HEATWAVES).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">What about the people who see it coming, and wonder, what can we do in the time we have left ?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><b>WE NEED TO FINISH THE WORK GOD GAVE TO EACH OF US TO DO.\u00a0 <\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><b>JESUS COMPARES OUR WORK TO THAT OF A PERSON BUILDING A TOWER.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><b>Luke 14:28-30\u00a0 <\/b><i>For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,\u00a0 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish<\/i>.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">JESUS SET HIMSELF AS OUR EXAMPLE IN FINISHING THE WORK OF THE FATHER.<\/span><\/h3>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><b>John 4:34\u00a0 <\/b><i>Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><b>John 5:36\u00a0 <\/b><i>But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me<\/i>.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><b>PAUL WAS CONCERNED ABOUT FINISHING ALL THAT GOD ASSIGNED TO HIM.\u00a0 <\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><b>Acts 20:24\u00a0 <\/b>But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">HOW DO I KNOW WHEN I AM FINISHED ?<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Answer:\u00a0 &#8220;When God calls you to your reward in Heaven.&#8221;<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">1. BE A LIGHT TO THE LOST.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">A. A STRONG LIGHT IS MOST VALUABLE IN THE DARKEST HOURS, NOT AT NOONTIME.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">YOU WON&#8217;T CONVERT THEIR SINFUL HEARTS TO RIGHT THINKING UNTIL YOU SEE THEIR SOUL CONVERTED TO CHRIST.).<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>Matthew 5:14<\/strong> <em>Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">&#8211;SHOW THAT YOU KNOW THE TRUTH AND IT IS VALUABLE TO YOU.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> &#8211;SHOW THAT YOU HAVE A LIVING SAVIOR WHO HELPS YOU DAILY.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong> Luke 8:16<\/strong> <em>No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> <strong>Luke 11:33<\/strong> <em>No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> <strong>Luke 11:35<\/strong> <em>Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">B. THE LIGHT IS OBVIOUSLY DISTINCT FROM THE DARKNESS, YET THE TESTIMONIES OF SOME PEOPLE IS NOT SO DISTINCT FROM THE LIFE OF THE LOST.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">C. BE AN ENCOURAGEMENT TO THE BRETHREN. HOW ?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">&#8211;BE WITH THEM FOR WORSHIP. SHOW THAT GETTING TOGETHER IS IMPORTANT TO YOU.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> &#8211;SUPPORT EACH OTHER BY ENCOURAGING WORDS, AND YOUR PRAYERS.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>James 5:16<\/strong> <em>Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">&#8211;SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER BY WORDS THAT BRING THEM TO REALITY BEFORE GOD.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>Galatians 6:1<\/strong> <em>Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">&#8211;BE AN EXAMPLE THAT THEY WANT TO BECOME, TOO.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>1 Timothy 4:12<\/strong> <em>Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">2. BE FAITHFUL TO GOD&#8217;S PEOPLE AND HIS WORK.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">A. WHEN UNDER TRIALS FAMILY IS IMPORTANT.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">YOUR SPIRITUAL FAMILY SHOULD BE IMPORTANT TO YOU ! (THAT&#8217;S WHY WE ARE CALLED &#8216;BROTHERS AND SISTERS&#8217;).<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">B. WARN THOSE THAT YOU CARE ABOUT.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">THE BIBLE MENTIONS TWO ROLES, THE PORTER AND THE WATCHMAN. \u00a0BOTH WARN OF DANGER, BOTH ARE IMPORTANT, BUT HOW ARE THEY DIFFERENT ?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">&#8212;<strong>PORTER<\/strong> IS THE PERSON WHO GUARDS THE GATES.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> &#8212;<strong>WATCHMAN<\/strong> IS THE PERSON WHO OBSERVES WHAT IS GOING ON OUTSIDE THE GATES.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">&#8211;IT DOESN&#8217;T MATTER IF THEY WILL LISTEN, OR NOT. YOU HAVE TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT REGARDLESS OF SOMEONE ELSE&#8217;S LACK OF CONCERN.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong> Mark 13:34<\/strong> <em>For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left His house, and gave authority to His servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> <strong>Ezekiel 3:17<\/strong> <em>Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at My mouth, and give them warning from Me.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> <strong>Ezekiel 33:6<\/strong> <em>But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman\u2019s hand.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">3. KEEP THE LOVE FLOWING.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">&#8220;CHARITY&#8221; &#8211; Literal translation &#8220;LOVE&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong> 1 Corinthians 13:2-4\u00a0<\/strong> <em>And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.\u00a0And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.\u00a0Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> <strong>1 Corinthians 13:8<\/strong> <em>Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> <strong>1 Corinthians 13:13<\/strong> <em>And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> <strong>1 Corinthians 14:1<\/strong> <em>Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> <strong>1 Corinthians 16:14<\/strong> <em>Let all your things be done with charity.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> <strong>Colossians 3:14<\/strong> <em>And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">&#8211;KNOW THAT THE TEMPTATIONS ON EARTH WILL INCREASE. You need to be more solid in your commitment to the Lord.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> &#8211;KNOW THAT OTHERS WILL HAVE TO BE STRENGTHENED. You will benefit if you help others to be strong.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> &#8211;KNOW THAT MANY WILL NOT DO THEIR WORK FOR GOD, AND SOMEONE MUST PICK UP THE SLACK. Don&#8217;t be afraid to try something you may never have done before.
