PERCEPTION<\/span><\/i>: HOW WOULD YOU SEE THESE EVENTS ?<\/b><\/p>\n

Without the guidance of the Word, certain events affecting you can be interpreted in the wrong way !<\/i> <\/center><\/p>\n

1. <\/span> The fleeing of the Babylonians.<\/span> <\/span> (Jer. 37:5)
\nA. Is God’s timing ours ? Had to wait for the judgment. 2 Peter 3:8<\/i><\/p>\n

2. <\/span> The suppression of truth.<\/span> <\/span> (Jer. 38:4)
\nA. Seemed as if it would be halted. But, the truth cannot be stopped.
\n– Angels spreading Gospel. Rev. 14:6-7<\/i>
\n– Nehemiah’s ordeal. Neh. 6:2<\/i>
\n– Threatened believers. Acts 8:1-6, 2 Tim. 2:4-5<\/i><\/p>\n

3. <\/span> State-support release of Jeremiah.<\/span> <\/span> (Jer. 38:10)
\nA. A change in official policy ? Or, done as political favor ?
\nLuke 23:25, Mark 15:6, 15<\/i><\/p>\n

4. The successful escape of Zedekiah.<\/span><\/span> (Jer. 39:4)
\nA. Felt safe until caught. Psalm 73:18, Jer. 23:12<\/i><\/p>\n

5. The giving of the land to the poor.<\/span> (Jer. 39:10)
\nA. Were the Babylonians now the “good guys”?
\n(Jer. 25:9, 27:6)<\/p>\n

6. The freedom of Jeremiah. <\/span> (Jer. 39:14)
\nA. Did the Babylonians want to hear Jeremiah’s preaching more than the Jews ?
