Peace can be deeper.<br \/>\n&#8211; It can be imagined. <i>Ezek. 13:16<\/i><br \/>\n&#8211; It can be a sacrifice. <i>1 Sam. 10:8<\/i><br \/>\n&#8211; It can be temporary. <i>John 14:27<\/i><br \/>\n&#8211; It can be a process. <i>Luke 1:79<\/i><br \/>\n&#8211; It can be a contentment in everything. <i>2 Thes. 3:16<\/i><br \/>\n&#8211; It can be in abundance. (Jer. 33:6)<br \/>\nB. Joy can be deeper.<br \/>\n&#8211; It may lack full understanding. <i>Luke 1:14<\/i><br \/>\n&#8211; It may lack security. <i>Ps. 51:12<\/i><br \/>\n&#8211; Fullness of joy. <i>Ps. 16:11, John 15:11<\/i><br \/>\nC. Truth can be deeper. <i>Rom. 11:33<\/i><br \/>\n&#8211; Can be without knowledge. <i>Deut. 1:39<\/i><br \/>\n&#8211; Can be a special gift. <i>1 Cor. 12:8<\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">2. <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\"> Know the depths of God Himself.<\/span> <\/span> (Jer. 33:7-8)<br \/>\nA. The giver of gifts is more important than the gift.<br \/>\n&#8211; It is a person who brings these things. <i>Gal. 5:22, Eph. 3:19, Phil. 3:10<\/i><br \/>\nB. Dangers in just knowing &#8220;what He does&#8221; rather than &#8220;who He is.&#8221; <i>John 6:26<\/i><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><center><b>&#8211; Part 2 &#8211;<\/b><\/center><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>WHEN GOD SAYS, &#8220;I WILL ANSWER YOU.&#8221;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>Do you assume that God will answer immediately just because you call ? You could be setting yourself up for a big disappointment !<\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> God&#8217;s offer to communicate with him should not be taken lightly.<\/span> <\/span><br \/>\nA. In our walk with Him. <i>Micah 6:8<\/i><br \/>\nB. God demands of us. <i>Acts 17:30<\/i><br \/>\nC. We must come in light of who we are in the sight of God, not man.<br \/>\n<i>Luke 18:14, 14:11<\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">2. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> Just because we hear God speak does not mean we get the total blessing.<\/span> <\/span><br \/>\nA. Conviction can be ignored. <i>2 Thes. 2:12<\/i><br \/>\nB. We can respond without faith. <i>Mark 16:14<\/i><br \/>\nC. We can respond with our own will. <i>Jonah 4:7<\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">3. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> Sometimes God answers only at what seems to us to be &#8220;the last minute.&#8221;<\/span> <\/span><br \/>\nA. In times of trouble and crisis.<br \/>\n&#8211; <i>John 11:43<\/i> &#8211; Lazarus<br \/>\n&#8211; <i>Matt. 21:14<\/i> &#8211; They could have said, &#8220;Why didn&#8217;t he prevent these things in the<br \/>\nfirst place?&#8221; &#8211; *See also: <i>Psalms 50:15, Mark 13:11<\/i><br \/>\nB. In time of need. <i>Heb. 4:16<\/i><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><center><i> What is man that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? Psalm 8:4<\/i><\/center><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><center><b>&#8211; Part 3 &#8211;<\/b><\/center><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>IF YE CAN BREAK MY COVENANT OF THE DAY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>In a world of untrustworthy words, we have a sure anchor in the promises of God !<\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> The certainty of God&#8217;s promises.<\/span><\/span> (Jer. 33:20)<br \/>\nA. The nature of God will not permit lying. <i>Titus 1:2, Hebrews 6:18<\/i><br \/>\nB. The nature of God is orderly, truthful. <i>1 Cor. 14:33<\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">2. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> Interpreting God&#8217;s promises.<\/span> <\/span><br \/>\nA. Must know what was really said. <i>John 8:42<\/i><br \/>\nB. Must know the context.<br \/>\n&#8211; Who was it promised to ?<br \/>\n&#8211; For what time was it promised ?<br \/>\nC. Must meet any conditions.<br \/>\n&#8211; Some promises conditional (like requiring faith)<br \/>\n&#8211; Some promises without conditions (It doesn&#8217;t matter what you believe,<br \/>\nit is going to happen.)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">3. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> Promises easily misunderstood.<\/span> <\/span><br \/>\nA. Salvation. <i>Acts 16:31, Matt. 7:21, Matt. 25:11, Luke 6:46<\/i><br \/>\nB. Baptism. <i>Mark 16:16, Luke 23:42<\/i><br \/>\nC. Tongues. <i>Mark 16:17, 1 Cor. 12:10<\/i><br \/>\nD. Healing. <i>Matt. 8:16, 2 Cor. 12:7<\/i><br \/>\nE. Desires. <i>Psalm 37:4, Gen. 3:6<\/i><br \/>\nF.
