Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.\u00a0 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.\u00a0 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.\u00a0 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.\u00a0 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.\u00a0 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The &#8220;Woman&#8221; is Israel, the Jewish people.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Revelation 12:4<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<em>And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Verse 4 refers to the devil as the dragon, and we remember how he tried to destroy Jesus when He was a child.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Revelation 12:5-6<\/strong> \u00a0<em>And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.\u00a0And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The &#8220;man child&#8221; is Jesus, and while Mary was the woman who gave birth to Him, this verse is referring to the people of Israel as a whole, not just the individual. \u00a0We see this where it mentions she fled into the wilderness, referring to the last 3 1\/2 years of the Tribulation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>WHY IS THE SERPENT TRYING TO DROWN HER ?\u00a0 <\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Satan hates Israel.\u00a0 During the Tribulation, Israel is the only people who trust in Jesus the Messiah.\u00a0 Therefore, he makes war with her.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00a0JEWS KILL THE ANTICHRIST.<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Revelation 13:14\u00a0 <\/b><i>And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live<\/i>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">sword=\u00a0 3162 \u03bc\u03b1\u0301\u03c7\u03b1\u03b9\u03c1\u03b1 machaira makh\u2019-ahee-rah<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1) a large knife, used for killing animals and cutting up flesh<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2) a small sword, as distinguished from a large sword<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">THE ANTICHRIST WILL BE ASSASSINATED.<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Zechariah 11:16-17<\/strong> \u00a0<em>For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.\u00a0 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.
