BY WHAT CONSEQUENCES ARE ATTACHED TO IT.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> 2. BY WHEN GOD EXPRESSES HIS FEELINGS TOWARD IT.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> ***KEEP IN MIND THAT SIN SHOULD NEVER BE ANALYZED FROM A PEOPLE-PERSPECTIVE OR STANDARD. \u00a0PEOPLE HAVE A TENDENCY TO CHANGE STANDARDS TO FIT THEIR CURRENT IDEAS &#8211; ESPECIALLY TO ALLOW THEM TO GET AWAY WITH WHATEVER SIN THEY ARE COMMITTING AT THAT TIME.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">1. BY WHAT CONSEQUENCES ARE ATTACHED TO IT.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">\u2666 ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES. <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>1 John 5:16-17<\/strong> \u00a0<em>If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.\u00a0All unrighteousness is sin<\/em> [eternal view]: <em>and there is a sin not unto death<\/em> [present view].<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">\u2666 PRESENT CONSEQUENCES.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> ENTICING PEOPLE AWAY FROM GOD = DEATH. <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>Deuteronomy 13:6-10<\/strong> \u00a0<em>If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;\u00a0Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;\u00a0Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:\u00a0But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.\u00a0And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> THE THIEF = PAYING DOUBLE (restitution).<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>Exodus 22:7<\/strong> <em>If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man\u2019s house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> THE SEXUAL PERVERSIONS = DEATH.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>Leviticus 18:22<\/strong> <em>Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong> Leviticus 20:13<\/strong> <em>If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">2. BY WHEN GOD EXPRESSES HIS FEELINGS TOWARD IT.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> ABOMINATIONS.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> 08251 \u05e5\u05d5\u05e7\u05e9\u05c1 shiqquwts shik-koots\u2019 or \u05e5\u05e7\u05e9\u05c1 shiqquts shik-koots\u2019 unclean things, impure<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> 08441 \u05d4\u05d1\u05e2\u05d5\u05ea tow\u2018ebah to-ay-baw\u2019 or \u05d4\u05d1\u05e2\u05ea to\u2018ebah to-ay-baw\u2019 personal afront, rebellion.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> BOTH INCLUDE A RANGE OF PENALTIES.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">THESE ARE THE BASIC CATEGORIES OF ABOMINATIONS TO THE LORD.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"> Proverbs 6:16-19 <em>These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:\u00a0A <strong>proud look<\/strong>, a<strong> lying tongue<\/strong>, and <strong>hands that shed innocent blood<\/strong>,\u00a0An <strong>heart that deviseth wicked imaginations<\/strong>, <strong>feet that be swift in running to mischief<\/strong>,\u00a0A<strong> false witness that speaketh lies<\/strong>, and <strong>he that soweth discord among brethren<\/strong>.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">MOSES RECOGNIZED THAT THE PEOPLE COMMITTED A SIN WHICH WAS MORE LIKELY TO ANGER GOD THAN ANOTHER SIN.\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">(Did all lying stop ? Wasn&#8217;t there stealing, or lack of commitment, etc ? Yes. But, this sin was counted as greater).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>Exodus 32:31<\/strong> <em>And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a <strong>great sin<\/strong>, and have made them gods of gold.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>Deuteronomy 18:9-12<\/strong> \u00a0<em>When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.\u00a0\u00a0There shall not be found among you any one that maketh <strong>his son or his daughter to pass through the fire<\/strong>, or that <strong>useth divination<\/strong>, or an <strong>observer of times<\/strong>, or an <strong>enchanter<\/strong>, or a <strong>witch<\/strong>,\u00a0Or a <strong>charmer<\/strong>, or a <strong>consulter with familiar spirits<\/strong>, or a <strong>wizard<\/strong> , or a <strong>necromancer<\/strong>.\u00a0For all that do these things are an <strong>abomination<\/strong> unto the LORD : and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">THERE IS A SIN THAT CANNOT BE FORGIVEN. (A SIN UNTO DEATH ?). <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>Matthew 12:31<\/strong> <em>Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">THIS INDICATES THAT THERE ARE DIFFERENT CATEGORIES OF SINS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">GOD SAYS THAT LOOKING AT THE SIN OF NAILING JESUS TO THE CROSS AND THE SIN OF BETRAYING HIM, THAT BETRAYING HIM TO THE ROMANS WAS THE GREATER SIN.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong> John 19:11<\/strong> <em>Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against Me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered Me unto thee hath the greater sin.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">GOD&#8217;S MERCY AND GRACE IS ENOUGH TO CLEANSE US FROM ALL SIN. <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>1 John 1:7<\/strong> <em>But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">THE DANGER OF LOOKING AT THE BIBLICAL TEACHING ON THIS IS THAT SOME PEOPLE WILL TRY TO FIND THE LESSER SIN AND DO IT BECAUSE IT IS NOT AS SERIOUS IN THE SHORT TERM AS THE GREATER SIN. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">REMEMBER ANY SIN IS STILL SIN IN GOD&#8217;S EYES, SO LET&#8217;S STRIVE TO KEEP OURSELVES PURE AND HOLY FOR OUR LORD !<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">\u201dQ&amp;A: Are There Degrees Of Sins ?\u201d<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">A Bible Study with Dr. Ed J.
