How Do YOU Recognize The Ways of The Wicked ?

1. GOD’S PEOPLE CAN RECOGNIZE THE WICKED.
A. DON’T ALWAYS APPEAR AS “SINFUL.” 2 COR. 11:14, MATT. 7:15
B. SPEAK VANITY. (V.2) VANITY=“empty, useless, without serious
merit.” *Some live continual episode of ‘Trivia Pursuit.’* 2 TIM. 2:16
C. FLATTER. “to praise beyond truth, endeavoring to win favor by
untruth, insincerity, or deception.”
PSALM 78:35-37.
D. HAVE DOUBLE HEART UNSTABLE IN GOALS, IDEAS,
BACKSTABBERS. LUKE 11:34.
E. SPEAK PROUD THINGS. (V.3) HIGH SELF-ESTEEM.
F. REBEL AGAINST AUTHORITY. (V.4) DID JESUS DO THIS ? IS. 53:7
AUTHORITY FROM GOD IS CLEARLY STATED IN THE WORD.
—MAN QUESTIONS GOD’S AUTHORITY. MARK 11:28, JUDE 8.
G. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE POOR, DON’T RESPOND TO THE
NEEDY. —EVEN THOUGH THE WISDOM OF THEIR COUNSEL MAY
BE BETTER THAN THAT OF “THE WISE.”
PSALM 14:6, PS. 140:12.

2. GOD’S PEOPLE CAN RECOGNIZE THE TRUTH —IF THEY ARE ABLE
TO RECOGNIZE GOD. *Recognizing God can be difficult at certain
times in your life, if you are not truly close to Him !

A. SOMETIMES IT HURTS. JOHN 8:9
B. SOMETIMES, IT LIFTS. 1 SAM. 2:8
C. IS THE WORD. JOHN 17:17.
D. GOD IS TRUTH. JOHN 14:6, I JOHN 5:6
